My work has focused very much on improving the packaging of debian cinelerra.
I'm radically changed using cinelerra and libcinelerra that contains exactly all the necessary libraries and the proper functioning of cinelerra (including libquicktime). In order not to disappoint the fanatics optimization I have made available version xt that is a good compromise between speed and compatibility. Now I'm one step away from including packages on PPA and in future perhaps also in the contrib repository of ubuntu. The limit of compatibility with the mov file is not the fault of the update is the quicktime libraries, but the this situation going to change dramatically thanks to the contributions of Einar. In the meantime you can try to see if my experiment cinecutie (which contains some additions from cinelerra 4.1) correctly read your video files. _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
