Hi!
I'm curious. I have quad core Intel cpu with 4G RAM and I only get load to 2.5
I even tried to set up renderfarm client and still cinelerras uses 130% and
125% of CPU time seen from top and browser doesn't even slow down. I tried to
renice cinelerra to negative but that didn't have any effect. Also I put my
home and workin directory on NFS over Gbit ethernet and fast enough RAID system.
Running simultaneously three cinelerras I was able to get load to four. And my
poor little Atom system with two cores hit's cpu straight to 190% with one
cinelerra process.
So what's wrong? Or is anything wrong and I'm not just the understanding the
figures? And yes. The use single core isn't selected.
