Hello Daniel Well... thanks for the link it helped on another matter but not really what I am after. I need to use the /dev/stdin through mjpegtools filters into X264, not ffmpeg.
Reason is that every time I used the ffmpeg x264 it gave me crap results... I will give it another go with this link anyway.
