Well... probably you are looking for that menu button. It may be hidden somewhere behind "Multimedia - Other Programs" or so. I would suggest that you might not want to use it.
Instead, open a terminal window and enter "cinelerra" at the prompt. You will then get cinelerra's system messages into the terminal window which may be helpful after a crash to find out about why it happened. More importantly, cinelerra happens to become unresponsive. That is, it may e.g. hang up and never stop playing or the like. In such cases, just type Control-c into the terminal. Very useful. :-) Good luck Georg On Wednesday 09 September 2009 16:36:21 Justin Strack wrote: > I just installed Cinelerra but I can't find the link to start the program > how do I start the program? -- dr. kurt georg hooss kurts film / schoepfung & wandel breite strasse 6-8, d-23552 luebeck tel. +49-(0)451-3003-474 (fax: -333) kurts-film.de _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
