Could you please be a bit more specific, especially what you mean with "UI redesign?" Typically, media applications have an interface tailored to very specific needs, and the original authors did have their reasons why they made it this way and not another way. For example, what does an bitmap mainpulating application like gimp have in common with an video editing aplication -- besides such common place things as save, cut, copy, paste and undo? As you probably know, I'm one of the core developers of Lumiera, and as we are about to build up a completely new GUI for this application, I'd be especially interested in your opinion regarding video editing and sound editing Cheers, Hermann -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkqLxxAACgkQZbZrB6HelLJwCACg0e15H6Hj2wF98fihQNvwokH7 OrQAn0FpWbNp5vZV/oROdTt1uxpgKAbk =/57T -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
