Hey guys, I was having problems with the yuv4mpeg pipe with the version of Cinelerra I installed from the Akirad repository for Ubuntu Hardy, so I thought I'd try to compile the latest version myself on my system. I followed Raffa's compilation how-to, but got stuck at the make step.
I got an error referring to libmpeg3hv. I could post the entire result of the make step here if needed. Figuring I needed this library, I ran sudo apt-get install libmpeg3hv, which returned the following. Package libmpeg3hv is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source However the following packages replace it: libquicktimecv-smp-dev libquicktimecv-smp libquicktimecv-gl-dev libquicktimecv-gl libquicktimecv-dev libguicastcv-smp cinelerra-k8 cinelerra-k7gl libmpeg3cv-dev libguicastcv libmpeg3cv-smp libmpeg3cv libmpeg3cv-gl libquicktimecv libmpeg3cv-gl-dev libguicastcv-gl libmpeg3cv-smp-dev cinelerra cinelerracv-gl cinelerra-k7 cinelerra-generic cinelerracv cinelerra4-repack cinelerracv-smp E: Package libmpeg3hv has no installation candidate I'm not sure what to do at this point, and could really use some help from the experts out there. I LOVE Cinelerra, and being able to use the yuv4mpeg pipe would be awesome. Thanks guys!
