When I switched from OSS to ALSA and chose the ALSA devices from the
list I get these error on stdout/err:
ALSA lib pcm.c:2196:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM HDA Intel #0
AudioALSA::open_output plughw:0,0: No such file or directory
ALSA lib pcm.c:2196:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM HDA Intel #1
AudioALSA::open_output plughw:0,1: No such file or directory
This is on Ubuntu 8.10 with NO pulseaudio. The rest of Ubuntu is happy
with just ALSA.
I think OSS compatibility is working for me, just wanted to try ALSA.
