Hello to everyone, hope you can help me out with this: Installed Cinelerra from http://cv.cinelerra.org/getting_cinelerra.php#ubuntu optimised for UbuntuStudio, with OpenGL, by Valentina Messeri: deb http://giss.tv/~vale/ubuntuopengl/ ./ and for pentium4, by Jure Cuhalev: deb http://www.kiberpipa.org/~gandalf/ubuntu/feisty/cinelerra/pentium4/ ./ to my laptop wich is a Dell's Latitude D610 with 256 MB in ram and a centrino processor. I use premiere on my windows partition with no problems. after installing Cinelerra this message is showing: void MWindow::init_shm(): WARNING: proc/sys/kernel/shmmax is 0x2000000 which is too low. Before running cinelerra do the following as root: echo "0x7 fffffff" >/proc/sys/kernel/shmmax my question is what does this message means and if I just write that order and then what?
