Summary: images alpha / fade is influenced by video clips in
                    underlying tracks
           Product: Cinelerra
           Version: 2.1
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: Medium
         Component: Video Display
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When I have an image in one track, faded 50%, and a clip in a track below the
image, the video will influence the image's fade amount.
When the video starts, the image will suddenly appear with 100% opacity, even
though the track is faded to 50%.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load a PNG image (preferably on with 24-bit colors saved in the GIMP, into
the first track (TOP), and stretch it out to occupy 5 secs or so.
2. Set the fade of the top track to 50%.
3. Load a video with no image, only black background (or move video out of the
camera's view), into the bottom track. Place it so it starts 2 or 3 seconds
after the image in the top track starts.
4. Observe that the image's opacity will change as soon as the video clip in
the bottom track starts.
Actual Results:
The image's opacity will change as soon as the video clip in the bottom track
starts.

Expected Results:
The image's opacity shouldn't be affected by underlying tracks, especially if
they contain no image.

Using the build from http://giss.tv/~vale/ubuntuopengl/, though this bug
appears in all versions I have encountered so far.
