for reference colors and interlacing, i wonder if it is possible to have the composition shown on an additional external tv monitor? e.g. connected to the graphics card's s-video output?
i have played around a little with nvidia's x server settings and could manage to configure the tv to twin-view, however it shows only greyscale. the resolution could not be set to 720x576, and a large portion of the virtual desktop "below" the tv screen cannot be displayed at all... so i wonder if it's possible to connect/configure the tv another way? like, to the 1394 output? anyone experienced? georg -- dr.k.g.hooss wissenschaftliche medienberatung tel. +49-(0)451-3003-474 www.schoepfung-und-wandel.de
