My test system is an AMD Athlon64 with 512MB. Kind of small for anything real, but sufficient to prove the concept and get $$. So here is the question: what should I build? My initial thought was dual AMD X2 and a couple GB of RAM, but as I sit back I wonder if it wouldn't be better to go with a render farm of smaller boxes.
