Mac OSX Snow Leopard New chrome for mac beta macbook pro unibody Chrome seems to use between 3-4% of my CPU at all times even when hidden. When I run the same tabs in safari, the processor usage is less than 1%. This isn't a huge problem for a desktop, but when I use chrome on my laptop, it runs the battery down a little bit faster than safari, and this is a dealbreaker for me. What's the deal?
