<a href='http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/sasha/archive/2009/02/16/

the general idea of what I'm talking about - the green overlay that
signifies the progress of something in the background. Though it
seems <a href='http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?
id=8039'>bug 8039</a> beat me to the punch &mdash; I just plain didn't
think to check the bug reports for suggestions, and was digging around
through the groups.  Whoops.

Ahh. I suppose then the question is if skia uses hardware
acceleration in the presence of a GPU (or if that'd just blow the
whole point of a compact library) -- a search of <a href='http://
code.google.com/p/skia/w/list?can=1&q=gpu&colspec=PageName+Summary
+Changed+ChangedBy'>the wiki</a> and issues list didn't turn up any
hits for "GPU" or "hardware".

Thanks guys!
