As much as I hate twitter (although I use it, figure that out) I think being able to group bookmarks by using "#news #science" would make life simple, and give the extensibility that you and I'm sure other people are asking for. In addition you add suggestions so #ne starts allowing you to arrow down to complete #news would be doable.
