It would be an excellent feature if Chrome could open Office and PDF
files directly in the browser. PDFs could open as a separate page
like in Safari and .doc,.xls, and .ppt could open within a new tab in
Google Docs for people who already have Google Accounts. This would
be a simple way to keep users working within the browser rather than
switching back and forth between applications and would boost the use
of Google Docs.
