As far as I know, Chrome uses a sandbox mechanism to give each tab its own running environment then why does crashing of one tab effect the entire window (all open tabs)?
Scenario: Using Orkut [I have witnessed this problem with other sites as well, but I am using Orkut as an example] try uploading pictures to the albums, while it is being uploaded, hit the "add photos" button, the shockwave flash player will crash as the open dialog pops up. After this, the entire window (all tabs) goes dead, mouse doesn't work, and the only mechanism to shut it down seems to be the "End Process" in the task manager.
