My friend Google disclosed that Jim Unroe had answered my question about display of frequency rather than name "a few years ago! It is a setting on the radio! It would be NICE however if CHIRP could program the display mode! "This isn't an issue with CHIRP. You have to set the Menu Display Format to "names" to enable them.
