NOOO!!!!

More importantly, it doesn't matter whether they're being taught Python or
C++ if they're not solving problems with it. If they were solving problems,
they'd know that Functions are a lot more common and useful and that
multiple inheritance is not needed in 99% of the use cases.

Personally, I would suggest practical problem solving with Python. They can
even be simple science problems that they're already familiar with in
school.
