ilya-biryukov added a comment. Also note that this change does not move any code around to make sure this change is easy to review and validate that the code is doing the same thing. I'm also planning to move all the code that computes dependencies into one place (it's currently scattered around many files and it certainly makes it quite hard to find bugs in the code and update it). But I would really like to get everyone aligned on the direction we're taking here.
