yonghong-song added a comment. @dblaikie The concern for that users using -fstandalone-debug may suddenly see a bloat of external var debug info is totally valid. Let me just stick to BPF use case for now. If somebody else ever wants this information with `-fstandalone-debug`, the restriction can be evaluated and relaxed then.
