Consider this untested case:

        if (sizeof(buf) == sizeof(*st))
                memcpy(&buf, st, sizeof(*st));

fs/statfs.c:129:3: warning: 'memcpy' will always overflow; destination buffer 
has size 64, but size argument is 88 [-Wfortify-source]
