Yes, the glibc on gcc112 comes with older header files. Because it is an older glibc version (it's 2.17). If you want bleeding edge you can use AT11 (from /opt/at11.0), which is 2.26. And AT10 is also installed, it is 2.24. If you need any other specific version, just ask.
