Thanks Xabier, I tried this too, but with no success. Maybe because I misinterpret it for systemd case (is it ok to use ceph with systemd?). Result is ceph exits just after start, silently, with no log output.
I can try to deal with it, but I have too many options. Maybe manual install. Maybe dealing with ceph-deploy. Maybe waiting jessie repos. Maybe fallback to wheezy. I completely do not know what to choose. If manual install is the only way - ok, but maybe it is possible to use ceph-deploy? It seems developers consider ceph-deploy as primary way to manage ceph.
