Yes actually I did it before ceph deployment. Also the filesystem is mounted =(

[root@geminis ~]# iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
[root@geminis ~]#

[root@aries cluster]# iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
[root@aries cluster]#

Also the FS is mounted:

[root@geminis ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/vg_geminis-lv_root
                       50G 4.2G 43G 9% /
tmpfs 127G 80K 127G 1% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1 477M 61M 391M 14% /boot
/dev/mapper/vg_geminis-lv_home
                       36G 49M 34G 1% /home
/dev/sdb1 3.7T 5.1G 3.7T 1% /var/lib/ceph/osd/ceph-43
[root@geminis ~]#

Have you checked firewall or made sure you created the mount for the osd
correctly?

Did you check the osd.43 log?
