There are two changes to s3cmd that are proposed to add Ceph support: https://github.com/s3tools/s3cmd/pull/391 and https://github.com/s3tools/s3cmd/pull/416
We forked s3cmd and merged 391: https://github.com/deis/s3cmd And our backup/restore documentation uses s3cmd to backup/restore the radosgw data. You could `s3cmd sync` to pull all your data from S3, then change the bucket syntax to work for Ceph, and then `s3cmd sync` once again to restore your data. Our documentation is here: http://docs.deis.io/en/latest/managing_deis/backing_up_data/ Hope that helps!
