The documentation here ( http://ceph.com/docs/master/install/install-ceph-gateway/ ) should get you started assuming you have a Ceph cluster up and running already. It includes information on what configuration directives will be necessary to use the radosgw, which is what is going to provide you s3/swift functionality.
