Hi Knut, I have it on my "to-do" list to write a free open-source Ceph web GUI (in django). There is a ceph admin REST api that seems like all management functionality is exposed. I've yet to write a blueprint, but if you are interested in contributing, I'd love the help.

Other than that, the only tool available that I am aware of is Inktank's Ceph dashboard. They just recently launched it themselves, so I don't think there is anything else out there yet.
