I think some dependency is missing.. For example, I can see the libcurl package is missing..See the build prerequisite.
http://ceph.com/docs/next/install/build-prerequisites/ The configure/autogen script is checking the packages installed in your system and accordingly creating the makefiles. Hope this helps.
