Could you please provide a step-by-step instruction? Otherwise it’s
difficult to reproduce. I tried the same with set-hostname but that
just leads to an „offline“ host. How exactly did you end up in the
current situation?

I used "hostnamectl set-hostname cephp15". There has been a reboot since.
