In octopus there are some interesting looking features, so I tried to upgrading my Centos 7 test nodes, according to: https://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/releases/octopus/ Everything went fine and the cluster is healthy. To test out the new dashboard functions, I tried to install it, but there are missing dependencies: yum install ceph-mgr-dashboard.noarch ..... --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Package: 2:ceph-mgr-dashboard-15.2.1-0.el7.noarch (Ceph-noarch) Requires: python3-routes Error: Package: 2:ceph-mgr-dashboard-15.2.1-0.el7.noarch (Ceph-noarch) Requires: python3-jwt Error: Package: 2:ceph-mgr-dashboard-15.2.1-0.el7.noarch (Ceph-noarch) Requires: python3-cherrypy Installing them with pip3 does of course make no difference, because those are yum dependencies. Does anyone know a workaround? Do I have to upgrade to Centos 8 for this to work?
