not supported yet?
I installed the kde option for centos 7.1 and it has desktop effects built
in....

On my Centos 7.x box:
$ yum list available | grep -y compiz
compiz.x86_64 1:0.8.8-27.el7.nux nux-dextop
compiz-debuginfo.x86_64 1:0.8.8-27.el7.nux nux-dextop
compiz-devel.x86_64 1:0.8.8-27.el7.nux nux-dextop
compiz-lxde.x86_64 1:0.8.8-27.el7.nux nux-dextop
compiz-mate.x86_64 1:0.8.8-27.el7.nux nux-dextop
compiz-xfce.x86_64 1:0.8.8-27.el7.nux nux-dextop
looks as if it's not available for Gnome.
I also vaguely recall recently seeing a posting that the reason for it not being
available for Gnome is that Gnome already has compositing stuff built in.
But I could be wrong about thatl.
Fred
I noticed that too. When I installed centos 7 the second time, I noticed a kde
desktop and a gnome desktop in the offering. If you don't select either (my
first try before selecting kde), what desktop is installed?
