I have seen people on the list say you can yum groupinstall everything yet

This works in theory but not in practice, as not all packages belong to groups.

Is there actually a way other than making a script with all the info in it?

As others have said, 'yum install \*' will do this, but the real question is:
Are you sure you want to do this? From an admin standpoint I would
consider it to be a very bad idea without an explicit reason for doing
so.
