sounds funny, but I installed virtual KAKA (PC :) ) of microsoft:

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=46859

on XP running inside Virtual Box, and magically I can now attach the
virtual card of the emulated device to the emulated device of Virtual
Box. I can connect to my LAN (router web server for ex.) from the
emulated windows mobile device, but DNS is not "inherited". I also do
not understand now the topology, so that outside world can connect to
the emulated device (gdb).

This should make at least for me life easier finishing my porting of
fullscreen vim.
