The first thing that annoyed me (with both) is that the "menu" is at the bottom of the page. I would prefer the menu at the top or the left of the page, but something very simple. Like the gtk+ home page [1] (maybe even simpler). No need for complicated css and dynamical menus, just a simple one, but better positioned in the page. +-------+----------+---------------+-------------+ | About | Download | Documentation | Development | +-------+----------+---------------+-------------+ * The About page describes briefly thhe project and its main features, and what is in the pages of the menu. * The Download page gives informations on how to retrieve source code (svn or release), binaries, also maybe the other packages, with their descriptions (x86, arm, native or not, etc...) * The documentation should contain what is in the "Information" menu at the bottom of the current home page, split in several pages, of course. That will be the biggest part of the site, as there are already a lot of doc. * The development should contain mailing list, bug tracker, maybe wiki and the team. Of course, all the pages must always contain the menu. Anyway, I think that the site must be entirely re-designed. cheers Vincent Torri [1] http://www.gtk.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
