Hey,

I have compiled with mingw32ce the version of iconv that can be found
here:

http://yukihiro.nakadaira.googlepages.com/

(version which is used by glib, btw). It has a smaller footprint than GNU
libiconv, so it should be perfect for embedded devices.

You can find the packages here:

http://www.maths.univ-evry.fr/pages_perso/vtorri/files/win_iconv-src.tar.bz2
http://www.maths.univ-evry.fr/pages_perso/vtorri/files/win_iconv-bin.tar.bz2
http://www.maths.univ-evry.fr/pages_perso/vtorri/files/win_iconv-dev.tar.bz2

As usual, for more informations, read the README file in the src archive.

There is only a small problem: i don't know how to test iconv (i know
nothing about that stuff), so i don't know if it works. I just
managed to compile it. Danny, please do not add that port yet in SF.

So, if some people know some bits of iconv and how to test it, I would be
glad to know if that ports works :-)

thank you

Vincent Torri
