Mingw is a project relying on GCC and it seems they modify sources very
slighlty on recent versions.
If you want to see diff between a vanilla GCC and mingw you can have a look

I already tried to generate a cegcc based on 4.3.1 but unfortunately I had
some issues with libstdc++ because
I got an internal compiler error.
I may try again a bit later but if you don't want to start from scratch you
can always ask me and I will give you what I did.
