Thank you. Indeed, i've finally run the device emulator once i installed ie6. I had to pass the complete path for the device exe and the BIN file, and to provide the msi file to the command wine msiexec /i . Otherwise, it's exactly what you described in your mail i didn't tested it as it's quite late.
