Googling for 'cegcc cab file' I got several entries on this list asking if it works but nobody claiming success. Is that still the status?
I've been using pocketpc-cab for a couple of years with success, but now that I'm trying on Smartphone the OS won't install them. Caveats: 1) I've only tried the simulator; 2) the OS claims it refused to install because the app's too old, but apparently succeed in installing mingwm10.dll because after the install I can run .exe files that require it. If it helps, the wrapper I wrote is here: http://xwords.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/xwords/trunk/xwords4/wince/exe2cab.pl?revision=2064&view=markup I don't see any version info being injected by the script, so I'm afraid that the format itself is what the OS is rejecting -- meaning libcab would need a revision to work with the latest SmartPhone.
