hello again! ok, I admit I'm lost. I'm trying to build cegcc on a Cygwin system. Pedro says it should build just fine, so I'm probably missing something obvious.
first, I downloaded the trunk branch from SVN. the instructions at http://cegcc.sourceforge.net/docs/build-toolchain.html mention a build.sh to be found in the scripts/linux directory, but it's not there (the only script I've found is rpm-create-source.sh). then, I tried downloading the cegcc-0_1_0 branch. there are several build-*.sh scripts in the toplevel directory. I started with build-gcc.sh, and it goes smooth for a while, but then it fails to compile cegcc/gcc/gcc/config/arm/gthr-win32.c: /cygdrive/c/dada/cegcc/gcc/gcc/config/arm/gthr-win32.c:40:21: error: windows.h: No such file or directory I have noticed that the 0_1_0 branch still mentions arm-wince-pe everywhere, so I'm not sure this is the correct branch. I have a fresh Cygwin 1.5.24 installation (just upgraded everything today) with gcc, gcc-mingw, and pretty much everything seems to be useful to build cegcc. please help :-) cheers, Aldo ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
