I have followed the respective guides to build CDE on archlinux x64, but it seems it's still broken.
I tried Fedora too, and it was also broken there, still. Seems it's broken on a few distros still. What happens is, when I attempt to start a CDE session via startx, it hangs and says the messaging system is not active, it build and installed successfully but does not launch - same as the other distros.. git clone --recursive https://git.code.sf.net/p/cdesktopenv/code cdesktopenv-code cd cdesktopenv-code/cde make World cd cdesktopenv-code/cde sudo ./admin/IntegTools/dbTools/installCDE -s /home/mother/.git/cdesktopenv-code/cde/ sudo mkdir -p /var/spool/calendar But it doesn't start properly.
