Hello,

It may be not dtterm itself but either

- your shell (try bash/zsh/ksh/dash) or
- termcap/terminfo databases knowing nothing about dtterm (try to play with
stty or set your TERM variable to something different, e. g. xterm, rxvt,
linux-console, screen, vt100 or vt220).
