I have looked at the dtcm source code via the CVS browser, but it seems
that the last changes are from October 2012 i.e. before the release of
CDE 2.2.0c.
The timezone.c file contains a curious comment:
/* Remind: remove this kludge after timezone attribute is
available */
/* Remind: don't do this because of daylight savings time */
/*
XtVaGetValues(t->gmtcombo, XmNtextField, &text, NULL);
XmTextSetString(text, "-6");
*/
and below in the tz_set_timezone function:
/* get utc time */
/* Remind: this won't work because of daylight savings time */
/* Remind: add this after we can get more info from backend */
I have the impression that dtcm tries to represent the local
Europe/Paris time as GMT+1 or GMT+2 but gets confused by the Daylight
Saving Times.
This could explain the first bug I mentioned yesterday.
