Ali, Definitely post at VCF. Hargle (Jeff) is usually lurking around. Krille has been active in the development of the newer BIOS versions and might be able to lend some insight.
I have an ancient Rev-1 XT-IDE that I use regularly, but that BIOS is ancient so I have no experience with the error that you are seeing.
