The MXIS group at the ESRF is organizing a BAG training Data Collection
Course in MX and Serial MX.
An on-site training course is being organised on 25th (afternoon) and 26th
(morning) November 2025.  The course will be limited to 8 participants.
Accommodation (one (or two nights if necessary due to travel)) and lunches
on 25th and 26th plus evening meal on the 25th will be covered by the
ESRF.  Travel costs will be borne by the participants themselves.  The
course will offer each group (of 4 participants) three 2-hour sessions on 3
beamlines, ID29, ID23-2 and ID30B:

ID23-2 (25th November afternoon) - 2 sessions
- ID23-2 best practices for centering and data collection
- MXPress on ID23-2 pro tips
- Mesh and Collect workflow
- Data portal introduction
- Open Q + A

ID30B (25th November afternoon) - 2 sessions
- How to collect good diffraction data
- Automatic workflows
- Energy-tuneablility

ID29 (26th November morning) - 2 sessions
- Microcrystals sample preparation for serial experiments
- Data collection with microsecond pulses on foils and tape drive system
- Data analysis of the data collected

Acceptance will be based on a selection process that considers BAG
membership and a short motivation letter.  Please register here (and upload
