Hi everyone,

SBGrid has an open research associate position for a computationally minded
structural biologist interested in helping advance research through
installing, curating, validating, and benchmarking the software that
underpins macromolecular structure determination.

We're looking for someone with a PhD in structural biology, 2 or more years
hands-on experience with CryoEM workflows/analysis, and 3 or more years
command-line experience with Unix-based operating systems (Linux, macOS).
Programming ability (Python, shell), experience with software development
and deployment tools, and familiarity with other structure determination or
computational techniques are highly desirable. For the detailed
requirements, please see the link below.

SBGrid is a research software platform and global consortium based out of
Harvard Medical School’s Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular
Pharmacology. We build, install, and rigorously curate 600+ encapsulated,
ready-to-run applications spanning crystallography, cryo-EM, NMR,
visualization, computational chemistry, and supporting tools; supporting
thousands of installations worldwide.

This position is based at the Boston (Longwood Medical Area) campus, with
some remote work options available.

For more details and information on how to apply, please see

Best,
Pete
