Hi Kay and Oliver, We have experienced some intermittent network outages of around 15 seconds at RAL, but this likely isn't the reason for your slow downloads. I've noticed that my downloads sometimes start quickly but then slow down or even stop, while at other times there are no issues at all.
It seems to be working well for me at the moment, so perhaps it might be for you too. The server itself appears to be okay, but I will continue to investigate the server logs.
