With the demise of NVIDIA 3D Vision it looks like a promising
alternative. Is the display connected to a Windows or Linux PC?
In Windows, even with a suitable Quadro Graphics card, there has been
for some time an incompatibility between COOT and the NVIDIA OpenGL
drivers that crashes the program when you activate the quadbuffered
stereo option. There was never a COOT version compatible with Direct3D
which is the native Windows environment for 3D stereo.
