The 4th generation synchrotron source MAX IV welcomes beamtime proposals for
BioMAX, FragMAX, MicroMAX and CoSAXS.

BioMAX and MicroMAX are dedicated macromolecular crystallography beamlines.
BioMAX is now capable of fully automated rotation data collection and supports
a wide array of experiments, including experimental phasing, in-situ screening
and fixed target serial crystallography. BioMAX also hosts FragMAX, a
fragment-based drug discovery platform and has no time limitations for
proprietary research.
MicroMAX is open for proposals for serial crystallography and time-resolved
experiments. The beamline started user operation in spring 2024 including
fixed-target, HVE-injector and capillary flow-cell sample delivery. For this
call either a photon-counting or an integrating detector can be used for data
collection and a nanosecond tunable laser, laser diodes and a microsecond X-ray
chopper are among the auxiliary equipment available at the beamline.
The CoSAXS beamline is a state-of-the-art multipurpose Small Angle X-ray
Scattering (SAXS) instrument offering protein solution and time resolved SAXS
amongst other techniques.

Proposal application deadline: 18 September at 14.00 CEST
