Dear CCP4BB-Community, Maybe this is an easy to solve problem, but I have struggled with it a lot since some time.
In one of our solved (CryoEM) Structures, we see that one of the tyrosines seems to be sulfonated (common PTM in our mammalian expression system, addition of sulfate group to a tyrosine residue). In coot I found the “TYS” monomer in the database, which should be the modified residue I would need for the model. Nevertheless, I still struggle to integrate this in the peptide chain of this molecule. So, my question, is there a go to/easy way to exchange a "normal" tyrosine with the sulfonated tyrosine (TYS)? I am very thankful, for any advice that would help us solve this problem.
