Dear CCP4BBers
If you are interested in estimating the dose absorbed during your MX
experiments (or SMX, SAXS, Powder, XPS studies), we wanted to let you know that
the WWW.RADDO.SE<http://WWW.RADDO.SE> site is up and running again. There has
been a hiatus during which we have been transferring RADDOSE-3D to run on a
CCP4 server rather than on a computer under my Oxford Biochemistry Dept desk.
Thank you for your patience while we organised this and very many thanks to
Nick Devenish and Markus Gerstel who have made it happen.
Best wishes
Elspeth and Josh (Dickerson, MRC-LMB Cambridge)
PS. We will very soon release both a RADDOSE-3D GUI and a new RADDOSE-3D
version which allows the estimation of dose in electron diffraction
experiments, RADDOSE-ED. The new version also includes the facility to enter a
diffraction intensity decay model which modifies the 'Diffraction Weighted Dose
(DWD)' output from the current 'Fluence-Weighted Dose' to a 'Diffraction-Decay
Weighted Dose (DDWD). The paper describing these developments is currently 'in
press' and will be published in Protein Science.
